At Make Waves Nursery & Pre-School, we give every child the best possible start through purposeful learning, caring support and a warm, safe environment where little ones aged 0 - 4 can learn, explore and grow all year round.

Our daily routine is designed to give children a comforting structure while balancing learning, play and rest throughout the day.
An example of a day at our Bideford nursery begins with breakfast, free play and circle time, followed by structured learning activities, snack time and outdoor play to support physical and social development. The afternoon includes lunch, transitions, messy play, child-led learning and sensory activities before tea time, ensuring children enjoy a calm, engaging and purposeful day right through to pick-up.

Nursery Fees & Funding.
Our fees are clearly listed and based on 5-hour sessions, with pricing across three age groups and a small consumables charge.
We also accept funded childcare hours, which we stretch for you to cover the whole year - helping families reduce their childcare costs while accessing high-quality early education in North Devon.

Yes, We invite all new starters for a minimum of two, 2-hour settling-in sessions before joining our nursery. These sessions are free, and help your child get used to our space, our team and their new routine before we get started.
